SEBI Grade A 2020 Exam Pattern:
The Securities and Exchange Board of India is the regulating authority in the country which aims at protecting the interests of the investors and regulates the securities markets and encouraging a healthy growth of the economy and the markets. SEBI conducts regular recruitment drives to appoint eligible candidates and SEBI grade A recruitment aims to do just that. The SEBI Grade A 2020 exam pattern will help all desirous candidates to prepare for the exam systematically.

Date of start of registration for application: 7th March 2020
Last date to submit completed application: 30th April 2020
Date of SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam: 4th July 2020
Date of SEBI Grade A Phase 2 exam: 23rd August 2020
The SEBI Grade A exam is conducted in 3 stages. These include the following:
- Phase 1: Preliminary exam
- Phase 2: Main exam
- Phase 3: Interview
SEBI Grade A Phase 1 Preliminary exam:
- The preliminary exam is a computer based online examination.
- The exam consists of multiple choice objective questions.
- The exam consists of 2 papers, i.e., Paper 1 and 2.
- The total weightage of the exam is 200 marks.
- The marking scheme is as follows:
- Incorrect answer: – 1/4th marks will be deducted

SEBI Grade A Phase 2 Main exam:
- The main exam is a computer based online examination.
- The exam consists of multiple choice objective questions and descriptive questions.
- The total weightage of the exam is 300 marks.
- The marking scheme is as follows:
- Incorrect answer: – 1/4th marks will be deducted.
- The exam consists of 2 papers, i.e., Paper 1 and 2.
- The paper 1 will be common for all while paper 2 for streams will vary.
