SSC CPO Exam Pattern:

The Staff Selection Commission conducts the recruitment exam for the Central Police Organization. SSC has released a notification for the recruitment of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police, Sub Inspector in CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector in CISF, Inspector posts and Sub Inspector Posts. A total of 2745 vacancies have been released by SSC. The SSC CPO exam pattern will assist candidates in preparing for the SSC CPO exam.

Date of Computer Based Examination (Paper-1) 11th to 13th December 2019

SSC CPO selection procedure:

The SSC CPO exam is conducted in 4 phases. These include the following:

  • Phase 1: Paper 1
  • Phase 2: PET/ PST
  • Phase 3: Paper 2
  • Phase 4: DME

SSC CPO exam pattern:

Phase 1 Paper 1

  • The exam is a computer-based online exam.
  • The exam consists of MCQ (multiple-choice objective questions).
  • The exam consists of 4 sections.
  • The total number of questions asked are 200.
  • Total weightage of the exam is 200 marks.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
  • The medium of the exam is Hindi or English.
  • The marking scheme includes negative marking.
  • For Every Incorrect answer: -0.25 marks will be deducted.

  • Candidates who qualify in Paper 1 appear for the PET/ PST.

  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours or 120 minutes.
  • The total weightage of the exam is 200 marks.
  • The marking scheme includes negative marking.
  • For Every Incorrect answer: -0.25 marks will be deducted.
