SEBI Grade A Exam Pattern:
The Securities and Exchange Board of India, popularly referred to as SEBI conducts recruitment drive to recruit eligible candidates for various posts within the organization. SEBI has released a notification regarding the recruitment of Grade A officers in various categories. These include IT, General, Official language, Legal, Research, and Civil and Electrical engineering. The SEBI Grade A exam pattern will help candidates prepare meticulously for the exam.

Date of start of registration of application: 7th March 2020
Last date to submit completed application: 31st May 2020
Mode of application: Online
Date of phase 1 exam: 4th July 2020
Date of phase 2 exam: 23rd August 2020
The SEBI Grade A exam is conducted in 3 phases. these include the following:
- Phase 1: Online preliminary exam
- Phase 2: Online main exam
- Phase 3: Interview
SEBI Grade A Phase 1 exam pattern:
- The SEBI grade A exam is a computer based online examination.
- The exam consists of multiple choice objective questions.
- The exam will consist of 2 papers.
- The total duration of the exam is 2 hours/ 120 minutes.
- The total weightage of the exam is 200 marks.
- The marking scheme is as follows:
- Correct answer: +1 marks.
- Incorrect answer: -1/4th marks will be deducted.
- A sectional cutoff for paper 1 will be decided by SEBI.

SEBI Grade A phase 2 exam pattern:
- The phase 2 exam is a computer based online examination.
- The exam consists of multiple choice objective questions and descriptive questions.
- The exam consists of 3 papers.
- The total duration of the exam is 2 ½ hours/ 150 minutes.
- The total weightage of the exam is 300 marks.
- The marking scheme is as follows:
- Correct answer: +1 marks
- Incorrect answer: -1/4th marks will be deducted.

SEBI grade A Phase 2 exam pattern:
- The phase 3 is a personal interview.
- Phase 2 exam will carry a weightage of 85% while the interview will carry a weightage of 15%.
