The Right to Education Act has been a part of the endeavor of the Government of India’s effort to provide free and compulsory education to children of all age groups and all sections. The RTE 2009 describes “the modalities of the importance of free and compulsory education for children between 6 and 14 in India under Article 21a of the Indian Constitution.” India is one of the few countries that has made education a fundamental right of every child. The RTE requires all private schools to reserve 25% of seats for children between the age group of 6 to 14 years, economic status/ caste based. The RTE Gujarat admission 2020-21 online date is an attempt on the part of the state government of Gujarat to implement the RTE.
Here are the details of the RTE Gujarat admission 2020-21 online date:
Date of release of RTE instructions for eligible candidates: 11th March 2020
Date of release of RTE notification: 26th March 2020
Date of RTE admission 1st list: 2nd April 2020
Date of RTE admission 2nd list: 16th April 2020
- The child should be born between 2nd June 2014 and 1st June 2015.
- The annual income of the parents of the child is based on various categories. These include the following:
- General category: 68000/- per annum
- OBC: 1 lakh per annum
- SC/ ST: 2 lakh per annum
- The parents must register their wards on the official website of the RTE Gujarat.
