RBI GRADE B Exam Pattern:
The Reserve Bank of India was established in 1935 as the country’s central bank. RBI was nationalized in 1949 and ever since has been the central banking authority of the country. The Reserve Bank of India conducts a recruitment exam for selecting eligible candidates for various vacancies in their branches across India. The RBI Grade B vacancies have been notified on the RBI website. The RBI Grade B exam pattern will help all those candidates who have applied for the posts to prepare in a methodical manner.

Tentative date of release of notification: April 2020
Selection procedure:
The selection of candidates includes 3 stages. These include the following:
- Phase 1 preliminary exam
- Phase 2 main exam
- Interview
Preliminary exam
- The preliminary exam is a pen and paper-based offline exam.
- The exam consists of MCQ(multiple choice objective questions)
- The duration of the exam is 2 hours/ 120 minutes.
- The total number of questions asked is 200.
- The total weightage of the exam is 200 marks.
- The marking scheme is as follows:
- Correct answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect answer: -0.25 marks will be deducted

- The total weightage of the exam is 300 marks.
- The exam consists of 3 sections which includes the following:
- Economic and Social issues
- English
- Finance and management
- The marking scheme is as follows:
- Correct answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect answer: -0.25 marks will be deducted
