This place is well known in medieval times, the Hauz Khas village has some amazing buildings that are built around the reservoir. This great monument was an official seat of the Mughal emperor from the year 1648 onwards. India gate was earlier called as The All India War Memorial which was located in Delhi. India gate dedicates to the 82,000 soldiers, which includes both Indian and British, who died during the First World War and the Third Anglo-Afghan War. There is the Amar Jawan Jyoti which is the burning structure situated right underneath that huge structure.
Chandni chowk is one of the oldest markets in the capital city. Chandni chowk is still an important and useful market. All types of goods and services are available in this market. Jama masjid was built on the order of the Mughal emperor, shah jahan in the 17th century. This beautiful mosque has three huge gates which are standing since 1656. The structure is made with red sand stone and white marbles. Jama masjid has a capacity of 25, 000 people at one time. If you wish to travel the city, then this place is a must to visit.
This place is the heart of the city. Popularly known as CP, has one of the largest national flags in the country. the place has two concentric circle known as the inner circle and the outer circle. the inner circle has blocks from A to F and the outer circle has blocks from G to N. The Connaught Place is also the ultimate place to experience the vibrant nightlife of Delhi as it has some of the most famous bars and restaurants.
