The Netaji Subhas Open University is one of the premier state open universities in India. Governed by the state government of West Bengal, the NSOU, was founded in 1997 and started it’s an undergraduate degree program in 2000 and the postgraduate program in 2004. Application fee: 480/- (100/- for registration; 100/- for ID card; 130/- annual development fee and 150/- prospectus)
The application fee for NSOU PG admission 2019 can be paid at any Allahabad Bank branch with the preprinted challan taken from the website during registration.
Educational qualification: The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream from a recognized college or university. The candidate must have secured the minimum eligibility marks in graduation for admission to PG.
Selection procedure: The selection of a candidate is done on the basis of merit. The candidate will be given admission on a first come first serve basis.
How to apply: The candidate can log in to the website of the university at www.bdp.wbnsouadmissions.com or http://www.wbnsou.ac.in/ . The admission form can be downloaded and filled with all the relevant details. The form needs to be submitted along with all the prescribed documents like the 10th and 12th mark sheet, transfer certificate, address proof, income certificate, caste certificate if any, scorecard, photograph and signature.
