MIT offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate courses that aim at “teaching and research with relevance to the practical world and transforming society for the better and seek the best possible community of scholars (and humans) who will contribute to MIT and the world.”

1st-year admissions to MIT for the academic year 2020 have closed. The application for 1st year for the academic year 2021 will open from August 2020.

  • Candidates must fill the application online.
  • The candidate must submit a resume, a statement of objectives, portfolio of recent work.
  • Candidates must upload any kind of scannable information that will enrich their application for MIT admission.
  • Application fee of $75 must be paid online through net banking options or through cheque.  
  • Candidates must also give 3 letters of recommendation completed by individuals who can comment on the applicant’s intellectual and professional achievements and other capabilities. The recommender must submit the letter of recommendation directly.
  • The candidate must submit GRE/ GMAT scores that are less than 5 years old. Copies of the scores are accepted.
  • Candidates must submit transcripts of under graduate and post graduate performances from the last institution attended.
  • IELTS and TOEFL scores are mandatory if the applicant is from a non-English speaking nation.
  • Applicants with a minimum 3-year work experience must submit a resume.  
  • Applicants must submit a portfolio of the relevant discipline they have studied in.
