MBA CET Exam Pattern:

Masters of Business Administration is a coveted postgraduate degree program that is eyed by many as a professional edge over others. The MBA program is offered by many universities, colleges, and institutes across the country. Admission to these colleges is on the basis of an entrance examination. The MBA CET exam notification has been released by the state of Maharashtra. The MBA CET exam pattern is a must to prepare for the exam systematically.

The Maharashtra MBA CET is conducted across various centers in the country to gain admission to the best management institutes in the state of Maharashtra. The MBA CET is conducted by the State Common Entrance Test Cell.

Date of start of registration: 10th January 2020

Last date to submit completed application: 22nd February 2020

Date of MBA CET exam: 14th and 15th March 2020

Date of declaration of result: 31st March 2020

Eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university/ institute.
  • The candidate must have secured a minimum 50% marks in graduation.
  • Candidates awaiting final year results are also eligible to appear for the MAH MBA CET.
  • Candidates with CAT/GMAT/CMAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA scores will be eligible for all India seats.

Application fee:

  • General: 1000/-
  • Reserved: 800/- 

MBA CET exam pattern:

  • The MBA CET is a computer based online exam.
  • The exam is conducted one a year by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra.
  • The exam consists of multiple choice objective questions and descriptive questions.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 ½ hours/ 150 minutes.
  • The medium of the exam is English only.
  • The total number of questions asked are 200.  
  • The exam consists of 4 sections which are as follows:
  • Logical Reasoning
  • Abstract Reasoning
  • Quantitative Aptitude
  • Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
  • The marking scheme is as follows:
  • Correct answer: +1 mark
  • There is no negative marking.
