Course: Nursing and Paramedical program

Eligibility criteria:

  • Nativity criteria:
  • Interested candidates who are native to India are eligible to apply for admission to the program
  • Candidates who hold Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cards/ Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) will also be considered for the program.
  • Candidates are divided into 3 categories that include Keralite, Non-Keralite I and Non Keralite II. The details can be checked online.
  • Age limit:
  • The candidate must have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December 2019.
  • There is no relaxation in the age limit for candidates under the service quota.
  • For B.Sc Optometry, B.Sc MLT and B.Sc Nursing the upper age limit for under service quota is 46 years as on 31st December 2019.

Optometry Courses Candidates have to pass the Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or relevant Examination which has approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Candidates have to pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.
B.Sc. Perfusion Technology, B.C.V.T. & B.P.T Courses Candidates have to pass the Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or relevant Examination which has approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Candidates have to pass with 50% marks in Biology separately and should have 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
B.A.S.L.P. Course Candidates have to pass the Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or relevant Examination which has approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Candidates have to pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology / Mathematics /Computer Science /Statistics /Electronics /Psychology.
B.Sc.Medical Radiological Technology Course Course Candidates have to pass the Higher Secondary examination conducted by Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or relevant Examination which has approved by Kerala University of Health Sciences, Thrissur. Candidates have to pass with 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
