ITI Admission Form 2019:

The Industrial Training Institutes or ITI are and endeavor on the part of the Government of India to provide skills to people to enhance their profession. Introduced in 1950 as the Craftsmen Training Scheme, the courses at ITI ensure a continuous flow of skilled workers in various trades for the local industry. This, in turn, helps to reduce unemployment, raise industrial production and nurture a technical attitude in the people pursuing various programs at ITI. In all, there are 19 government-run ITI’s affiliated to the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) that offer close to 10268 seats for admission. ITI admission form 2019 has closed for the present academic session.

Here are the details of the ITI admission form 2019:

Course: Full-time certificate courses

Date of notification of admission: 10th June 2019

Last date of registration: 7th July 2019

Duration of the courses: The time duration of the various programs offered by ITI varies from 1-3 years depending on the program chosen by the candidate. Some programs might be the short term of 6 months only.

NCVT: The candidate has to undergo practical working training of at least 1-2 years in the relevant area.

Eligibility criteria:

  • The candidate must have passed class 8th at least or as the program demands up till 12th
  • The candidate must be between 14 years to 40 years of age to pursue a course at ITI.

Admission procedure: The candidate can get all the relevant details of the program online from the various state ITI’s website. The application form is available offline and needs to be filled with all the relevant details. Some programs might require the candidate to appear for an entrance exam. The selection procedure varies from state to state.

ITI admission form 2019 can be checked online at the respective websites of the various states or in all major vernaculars of the state.
