IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Analysis:

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is responsible for conducting the IBPS Clerk Recruitment examination. The IBPS Clerk Mains exam was conducted on 19th January 2020 across India. The mains exam was attempted by all those candidates who passed in the preliminary examination held earlier. The IBPS Mains Exam analysis stated that the exam was similar to the one held in the previous year in 2019. The difficulty level of the exam can be categorized between easy to moderate.

The IBPS Mains Exam carries questions on English Language, Reasoning and Computer aptitude, Quantitative aptitude, general / financial awareness. The exam carries 190 multiple choice questions in all with various sections and the duration of the exam is 160 minutes. The time limit for each section is fixed so the candidates have to attempt the questions in each section within the stipulated time. The total marks allotted for the test are 200. The exam also has negative marking of 1/4th marks for each wrong answer marked by the candidate.
