Sugar or Salt  DIY Body Scrub

This is a basic homemade body scrub, which can be easily made with either sugar or salt and a little of body oil. You can choose any of the oils whether you choose almond, jojoba, avocado, or grape seed oil, is up to you. Any of them are great for hydrating dry skin. If you want some extra moisturizer, you can use a little bit of honey.

Banana Sugar Scrub

You can use those bananas which are starting to get brown, with three tablespoons of sugar in it. You can use 1/4 tablespoon of pure vanilla extract or any body oil of your choice. Don’t over-mash or it will become too thin. If you want a banana scrub for your face, reserve some of the banana and mash it separately without sugar.

Tomato Sugar Scrub

This one is really amazing and useful! It just needs a slice of tomato as a buffer, with two tablespoons of sugar. This will keep your skin fresh and glowing.

Sugary Minty Lip Scrub

Lips are three times softer than our skin, so there treatment should be more sensitive. Some quick treatment includes a blend of some jojoba or olive oil with castor sugar and a pinch of peppermint or pure vanilla extract. Place some of the paste on your lips, massage and lick off.

Lemon olive oil body scrub

This is a great cleansing scrub for reducing your risk of oily skin. The olive oil helps to balance out the lemon, so your skin will be left clean but not dry. You can use 3/4 cup of olive oil with 3 cups of granulated sugar and juice of one lemon with zest from 2 lemons. You can also add any essential body oil of your choice.
