The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), popularly called the Delhi Metro has released a notification for recruitment of JE/CRA/Assistant Manager/Maintainer/Steno. Delhi metro conducts a recruitment exam for selecting candidates for the various vacancies. The Delhi Metro exam pattern helps candidates prepare in a meticulous way for the exam.

Here are the details of the Delhi Metro exam pattern:

The exam for various vacancies varies. The selection procedure is conducted by DMRC and is held in 2-3 stages.

  • DMRC has announced close to 1800 vacancies for the post of Assistant Programmer, Fire Inspector, Librarian, Maintainer, Office Assistant, Assistant Manager, Junior Engineer, Customer Relations Assistant (CRA), Station Controller / Train Operator (SC/TO), Legal Assistant, and Store Assistant.
  • The exam is a computer based online examination.
  • The exam comprises of multiple choice objective questions.
  • The exam comprises of 2 papers that are scheduled on the same day.
  • Each paper consists of 5 sections.
  • The total number of questions asked are 180.
  • The total weightage of the exam is 180 marks.
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours 15 minutes/ 135 minutes.
  • The medium of the exam is Hindi/ English.
  • The marking scheme is as follows:
  • Correct answer: +1 marks
  • Incorrect answer: – 1/3 marks are deducted for wrong answer.
  • Questions left unanswered: 0 marks.
