AFCAT Exam Pattern Which Will Definitely Going to Help You


The Indian Air Force conducts the Air Force Common Admission Test for recruitment of Group A Gazette Officers in the Flying branch and the Ground Duty, i.e., Technical and Non-Technical) branches. AFCAT is a computer based online examination held across the country at various centers. The AFCAT exam pattern and the EKT exam pattern is clearly laid out by the Indian Air Force.

Here are the details of the AFCAT exam pattern:

AFCAT Exam Pattern

Date of the AFCAT and EKT examination: 24th and 25th February 2020

Interested candidates who are opting for the Ground Duty Technical branch must appear for the AFCAT and the EKT or the Engineering Knowledge Test. The AFCAT exam comprises of questions from various subjects which include Numerical ability, verbal ability in English, general awareness, military reasoning and aptitude test. All those appearing for the EKT exam must attempt questions based on computer science, electrical and electronics and mechanical engineering as well.

Eligibility criteria:

–        The candidate must be an Indian Citizen.

–        The candidate must have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12th qualifying exams with Physics and Math’s as compulsory subjects.
